Tanjung Bira Beach, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi..

Traveling around an archipelago like Indonesia, you will easily find beaches everywhere. From a white-smooth-sandy beach like Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi, to granite-rocks-formed beaches in Bangka-Belitung islands. Most of those beaches are still untouched, preserving the beauties for last. I got the chance to visit few of those beautiful beaches, and still many more lining up in my list to visit… Continue Reading

Dried coffee beans, ready for the next process...

Dried coffee beans, ready for the next process…

When the school holiday arrives, one of the things the children – and their parents – always want to do is to go on vacation to refresh their mind, seeing new places, before returning back to their daily activities. However, in this holiday season our vacation time was about to cut short, because at the same time the kids must sign up and register to their new school. So, the idea was to find a place where we can reach in just a short trip, and still can bring a new experience to the kids & enjoy our time. After browsing few options, Ijen mountain slopes was the choice, again. From Banyuwangi, we can also drive until around 3km from the peak before hiking to the peak of the mountain. So, lucky us, I guess…

Bromo, East Java

I am back again to Bromo, after so many years……

She’s still the same. The view from Penanjakan peak is still breath-taking. Still fresh, but it is not as chilly as before, as far as I remember. And not as clean as before (more people coming, means more litters *huh*)

This time, I brought along my family at weekend. And they really enjoyed the trip. From Malang, I chose Tosari route near Pasuruan as Poncokusumo route would be impossible for us who took Toyota Kijang to reach the caldera, and Sukapura route near Probolinggo is too distant compare to Tosari…
